Calyx Brands started as the Cannabis Rep Network (CRN) in 2015 to help brands get their products into more dispensaries for a fraction of the cost and time of building a sales team.
In March 2018, Calyx Brands was acquired by Nutritional High International (CSE: EAT; NASDAQ OTC: SPLIF), a leader focused on developing, manufacturing, and distributing products and nationally recognized brands in the marijuana-infused products industry.
NHI is based in Toronto, Canada, with operations in Illinois, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada.
What this means for Calyx customers is that you have more resources and an even bigger network than before. Through Calyx and NHI, brands now have access to extraction, manufacturing and distribution across CA, CO, WA, NV and OR. Brands distributed by Calyx also receive priority investment consideration by Nutritional High and NHI’s network of private equity partners.
It’s simple: to help you. For brands, that means we help you ensure your products are compliant, from the latest packaging laws to complying with different state regulations, testing procedures, and taxation.
For retailers, our approach is to help you educate new cannabis consumers. As cannabis becomes legalized, you have a whole new crop of consumers waiting to purchase edibles, vapes, flowers, and other products. But they also don’t know about potency levels, taste consistency, what type of feeling they’ll get and so forth. It can be challenging as a retailer to manage a store, find brands to carry, and educate consumers. We’ll bring you objective data on things like dosages, lab results, effectiveness, potency etc. so you can share that information with your clients and patients and help them make informed decisions.
Finally, our approach is to connect you. Whether it’s connecting brands, retailers, investors, manufacturers and others, we make sure that you get access to a cannabis community you wouldn’t know about otherwise.
